We're looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
Position Summary
As a Sales Associate / Cashier, you'll be one of the first people our customers meet. You'll help shoppers find amazing deals, answer questions, operate the cash register, restock merchandise, and keep the store clean and organized.
No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, and enjoys variety.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering questions.
- Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately using the POS system.
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions.
- Restock shelves and merchandise throughout the day.
- Price and label merchandise as required.
- Build attractive product displays.
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist with receiving shipments and unloading merchandise.
- Help maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention practices.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily sales and customer service goals.
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new products and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
