Duties
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle panels, frames, and structural components using various hand tools and power tools
- Perform dent removal, sanding, filling, and painting preparation to restore vehicles to factory standards
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair procedures
- Use heavy lifting techniques and equipment to move large or heavy parts safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes
- Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer specifications during repair processes
Qualifications
- Prior dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Mechanic experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates
- Valid driver’s license is required for moving vehicles or parts as needed
