We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on various heavy-duty equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on heavy-duty machinery and equipment.

Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake adjustments, and fluid replacements.

Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems on heavy machinery.

Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections performed.

Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in heavy-duty mechanics preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair and maintenance.

Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems effectively.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Valid driver’s license; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is an asset.
