Feed Mill Supervisor – Agricultural Operations
Our client, an established company in the agricultural sector is looking for an experienced Feed Mill Supervisor to oversee production operations and lead a skilled team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
About the Role
Reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will take ownership of daily production activities, ensuring output targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in an operational environment and knows how to get the best out of a team. Responsibilities
- Overseeing all aspects of feed production, from raw material processing through to finished product
- Planning and scheduling production to align with order volumes and delivery timelines
- Managing and mentoring day shift employees, providing guidance and holding team members accountable
- Championing a strong safety culture and ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed
- Identifying and resolving operational issues, coordinating with maintenance when required
- Keeping thorough records of production activity and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Acting as a key point of contact between production, logistics, and administrative teams
Systems & Tools
Candidates should be comfortable working with digital tools for fleet management, inventory, order tracking, and production/batch management. Proficiency in standard office software is also expected.
Skills and Experience
- Hands-on experience in a feed mill or similar agricultural manufacturing setting (required)
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment (required)
- Solid technical knowledge of feed manufacturing equipment and processes
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- High standards when it comes to safety, quality, and accountability
- Must have flexibility to be on-call for certain shifts if needed

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Team Lead/ Supervisory in a Grain Feed Mill: 5 years (preferred)
