Spa Coordinator
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Spa Coordinator to support the daily operations and overall success of the Boathouse Spa. This role is ideal for someone warm, welcoming, and highly organized, with a strong passion for exceptional guest service and wellness hospitality.
As a key point of contact for our guests, the Spa Coordinator helps create a seamless, relaxing experience from arrival to departure while supporting the spa team behind the scenes.
This position requires availability on weekends and evenings.
Responsibilities:
- Greet Guests, provide facility tours and provide exceptional customer service in a welcoming, professional environment.
- Schedule and manage appointments, confirmations, cancellations, and therapist calendars.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide information on spa services, pricing, and promotions.
- Process client check-ins, check-outs, and payments accurately.
- Promote spa services, memberships, and retail products to enhance the guest experience and support sales.
- Maintain client records while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Coordinate with spa staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service.
- Resolve client concerns professionally and assist with administrative tasks, inventory, and reception area upkeep
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel spa or luxury hospitality environment is preferred
- Strong retail skills with the confidence to educate guests on home-care products; sales experience is an asset
- Clear, knowledgeable communication when describing spa treatments, services, and amenities
- Proactive team player who consistently looks for ways to enhance the guest experience
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion
- Warm, genuine, and effective verbal communication skills
- Strong judgment and reliable problem-solving abilities
- Skilled at addressing guest inquiries and offering appropriate solutions or recommendations
- High personal integrity and commitment to ethical work practices
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Aspects of Position:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Duties include occasional bending, pulling, carrying and heavy pushing (up to 40lbs.).
- Will require sitting for long periods of time
