Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Siding/Window and Door Installers to join our construction team. This role involves installing various types of siding materials, windows and doors on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, carpentry, and the use of hand tools, with a strong focus on precision and durability. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to the enhancement of building exteriors through expert siding installation.
Responsibilities
- Measure and interpret blueprints to determine siding specifications and installation requirements
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary caulking or sealants for optimal adhesion
- Install siding materials such as vinyl, wood, fiber cement, or other specified products according to project plans
- Installing windows and doors
- Installing Soffit, Fascia and Eavestrough
- Ensure proper alignment, fastening, and sealing of siding, windows and doors to withstand weather conditions
- Maintain a clean work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed during installation processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in siding installation, windows and doors is required
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading is essential
- Strong carpentry skills with knowledge of construction practices and materials
- General Contractor's are encouraged to apply for this position
- Experience with caulking techniques for weatherproofing is a plus
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute to the office is necessary
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
