Under the direction of the Nutrition Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of food and environment services. Duties include adhering to all regulations governing food preparation, serving, and sanitation, which includes the operation and cleaning of kitchen equipment, performing housekeeping duties and working in the laundry department. The successful candidate must manage supplies efficiently and strictly comply with all relevant health and safety policies and legislation.
- Must have Food Handler Certificate or willing to obtain
- Must be willing to work in dietary, housekeeping and laundry departments
- Able to work in a fast pace environment while maintaining elderly essential care
- Able to work all shifts from 6am to 7:30pm
Employment with Stirling Manor Nursing Home will be contingent on screening for tuberculosis, and a receipt of a current criminal reference check, including vulnerable sector screening.
