Class 1 Long Haul Cross-Border Truck Drivers (up to 3 Positions Available)
Twin Pol Express Ltd. is currently hiring up to three experienced Class 1 Long Haul Cross-Border Truck Drivers to join our growing team.
Based in Surrey, BC, Twin Pol Express Ltd. specializes exclusively in cross-border transportation between Canada and the United States. We are looking for professional drivers who take pride in their work, value safety, and are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Compensation
- $0.55 per mile base pay
- Up to an additional $0.10 per mile performance incentive
- $50 for each additional pickup beyond the first pickup
- $50 for each additional delivery beyond the first delivery
- Consistent long-haul freight
- Signing bonus available for qualified applicants, payable upon the successful completion of one (1) year of employment. Details will be discussed during the interview process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence & completion of MELT course if applicable
- Minimum two (2) years of verifiable Class 1 tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driver's abstract
- Must be legally eligible to enter the United States
- Ability to successfully complete all applicable FMCSA/DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements
- Experience operating Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
- Experience in LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) operations is considered a strong asset
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate company equipment throughout Canada and the United States
- Complete assigned loads in a safe, efficient, and professional manner
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Properly secure freight and ensure cargo is transported safely
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and required documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, shippers, and receivers
- Immediately report accidents, breakdowns, delays, mechanical concerns, and unsafe road or weather conditions
- Comply with all company policies and all applicable provincial, federal, and U.S. transportation regulations
