The Lifecycle Marketing Lead builds and runs every automated journey across both Altea and AVANT brands: the first nurture message a prospect gets, the welcome sequence for a new member, the win-back that brings someone home. Nothing falls through the cracks, and every send reflects the standard both brands are built on.
Every email and SMS a member or prospect receives from Altea and AVANT runs through one person. Not a committee, not a queue — one person who owns the message, the moment, and the result. That's this role.
- Every email and SMS sent to members and prospects across Altea and AVANT: campaigns, newsletters, operational sends, and every lifecycle journey behind them.
- The copy members and prospects see everywhere else, too: website, app, digital signage, in-club.
- The full journey map: nurture, onboarding, engagement, retention, win-back, all built, tested, and documented for every stage.
- A continuous testing program across subject lines, send times, offers, and structure, with the data to back every call.
- AI tools that scale your output without ever touching the standard; you edit, segment, deploy, QA, and optimize.
WHO YOU ARE
- You notice a journey leaking prospects before anyone flags it, and you've already got a fix in motion. A subject line, a suppression rule, a send time — you treat every one of those like it's the member experience, because it is.
- You read the data and you read the person behind it. You know the difference between a message that lands and one that annoys, and you build accordingly. You're not chasing credit, you're chasing the number that moves: opens, clicks, reactivations, retained members.
- If tested, shipped, optimized, repeated sounds like your idea of a good week, keep reading.
- 3–5 years in lifecycle, CRM, email, or retention marketing — premium, membership-based, or multi-location brands preferred.
- Hands-on with a marketing automation platform (Active Campaign, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or similar): building journeys, triggers, and suppression logic yourself, not briefing someone else to.
- A track record with segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing; hypothesis through iteration.
- Strong data literacy: you can read a funnel, a deliverability report, or a retention curve and know what to do next.
- Working knowledge of CASL and Canadian rules for commercial electronic messages.
- A portfolio of campaigns you can point to and explain why they worked.
- Valid Criminal Background Check required prior to commencement
This role is compensated at a level that reflects the standard we hold and the calibre of person we're looking for. All rates of pay are confidential. Beyond base, you'll receive a performance bonus tied to membership results, complimentary Altea membership and a Plus One, group benefits, and an extensive vacation package plus paid Flex days.
Every lifecycle stage, nurture, onboarding, engagement, retention, win-back, has a live, documented journey behind it. Open rates, click-through, and reactivations are trending up against benchmark, month over month. Your monthly report reaches the VP with a clear read on what's working and exactly what you're doing about what isn't.
