Your Role
Established nearly 18 months ago, the French Services Production AI Committee is evolving to play a more strategic and transformative role across our various content divisions. The committee’s core objectives include (i) outlining the fundamental principles governing AI usage in both internal and external productions; (ii) promoting a co-ordinated and consistent approach to risk management across all departments, grounded in legal frameworks, industry trends and real-world use cases; and (iii) sharing business intelligence to effectively guide the development of our AI practices. Amid a period of profound technological transformation and rapidly evolving AI approaches, the Senior AI Adviser will deliver high-level strategic and operational support to the committee as well as to all content teams.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Operations, Transformation and Sustainability, you will provide cross-functional leadership within French Services. In this role, you will define the committee’s road map, standardize usage guidelines and support senior management in resolving complex or unprecedented issues.
Key Responsibilities

Operational and Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead the committee’s day-to-day operations, support subcommittees in advancing their initiatives and serve as the primary subject matter expert for AI within French Services.
-
Shared Standards: Formulate and promote the adoption of common standards on issues with cross-functional impact, such as AI disclosure and traceability requirements.
-
Complex Issue Management: Support senior leadership in navigating complex, precedent-setting situations involving AI that require consultation across multiple departments.
-
Liaison and Representation: Represent French Services on the Corporation’s operational committees and foster proactive collaboration with English Services as well as innovation and digital teams.
-
Trend Tracking and Inventory Management: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of AI initiatives within French Services, and support marketing intelligence efforts to track emerging AI regulations and practices across other French-language public broadcasters.
What You Bring
-
Education: Undergraduate degree in technology management, digital media, digital law, journalism, communications or a related field; graduate degree (M.Sc., MBA) a major asset.
-
Experience: Eight or more years’ experience in a senior specialist or expert role within the digital, media or technology sectors; proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
-
An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
-
Key Skills: Creativity, agility, independence and a bold approach to developing innovative solutions and new processes.
-
Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and a proven ability to build consensus and lead cross-functional initiatives.
