Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Wood Finisher and Product Packager to take our products over the finish line. There is room for apprentice woodworking time as well, but the primary role is in finishing and packaging for now. People move around the business as best suits them and the business. You will apply a hand-rubbed wax-oil finish to our products, learning to deliver the highest quality surface finish. You will package and ship these products, and deliver exceptional service to our customers in this role.
The hours are flexible, but must be between 9-5 on weekdays. 20-25/week is ideal to start, but could be more in short order if it works for all parties.
Responsibilities
- Learn to apply a professional quality hardwood finish
- Manage the logistics of the finishing department
- Manage our inventory
- Package our products in their respective boxes
Experience
- No specific experience required
- Workplace experience is a benefit
- Familiarity with wood finishing or woodworking is a benefit
