Our pharmacy is looking to fill the position of Pharmacy Assistant. We are a busy, independent pharmacy.
Candidates must have retail pharmacy experience.
Experience with blister/compliance packages, inventory management, and third party insurance claims
Our pharmacy uses Kroll for dispensary software, and experience in Kroll is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and provide patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
- Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to medication administration and patient interactions.
Job Types: Full-time
Schedule:
- Pharmacy open 9-6 pm Mon to Friday
- Saturday 10-2 on rotating 6-8 week schedule
