Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to efficiently manage inventory and support warehouse operations. This role requires mechanical knowledge, attention to safety, and the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse distribution processes and ensuring accurate order picking.
Duties
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Load and unload goods from trucks, storage areas, and production lines
- Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Perform order picking accurately according to shipping schedules
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Use basic math skills to verify quantities and measurements during operations
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers in a warehouse setting
- Mechanical knowledge related to forklift maintenance and troubleshooting
- Preferred Language- Cantonese or Mandarin
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes and order picking procedures
- Basic math skills for inventory counts and measurements
- Excellent attention to safety procedures and protocols during equipment operation

Pay: $19.00-$24.36 per hour
