Position: Automotive Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring the optimal performance of vehicles. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various automotive systems to meet or exceed manufacturer and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of motors in operation to identify any issues or potential concerns affecting performance.
- Perform road tests on motor vehicles to evaluate their handling, responsiveness, and overall functionality.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to test and assess the functionality of automotive systems and components.
- Efficiently adjust, repair, or replace faulty parts and components within automotive systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex faults and malfunctions, confirming findings with supervisors to determine whether repair or replacement is necessary.
- Execute scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other routine tasks to keep vehicles in top condition.
- Review work orders in detail, ensuring accurate documentation and discussing tasks with supervisors to prioritize and plan accordingly.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures, addressing customer concerns, and offering professional and friendly communication.
- Ensure that all repairs and maintenance activities meet or exceed established quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and labor hours expended for each vehicle.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
- Experience in engine repair, electrical and electronic systems, alignment, steering and suspension, brake systems, and diagnostics
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using various diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Valid driver's license
