Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Officer/Supervisor to join our team.
The position begins with a 1 week term, the successful candidate will travel 2.5 hours east of Saskatoon with a crew of 3 other Security Officers. Duties will be to train and mentor a group of newly certified Security Officers. 12 hour shifts (2 on days, 2 on nights). All expenses including travel time to location, hotels, car rentals, meal allowances, and uniforms/accessories are covered by the employer. Possibilty of full-time work available after the term for the right individual, continued P/T employment after term will be available to the successful applicants.
Duties
- Training new recruits
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License
- Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is preferred.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when necessary.
- A valid security license may be required.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
