Job Overview
Tegfateh Distributors Ltd., an independent franchise operator servicing retail customers on behalf of Bimbo Canada, is seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver & Merchandiser to join our growing team.
This role combines route delivery, customer service, inventory management, and product merchandising. The successful candidate will operate a company 5-ton box truck to deliver fresh bakery products to retail locations throughout the Okanagan region.
No previous bakery experience is required. Full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 5-ton box truck on established delivery routes.
- Deliver bakery products to retail customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload products at distribution and customer locations.
- Stock shelves and displays according to merchandising standards.
- Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate inventory, delivery, and sales records.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with store personnel.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any concerns.
- Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid British Columbia Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Pay: $48,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
