Minimal Qualifications Required:
- Current registration in good standing as Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- A Nursing diploma from a recognized college
- Minimal 2 doses for COVID-19 Vaccination
- Effective written and oral communication in English

Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Provides nursing care consistent with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards, Long-Term Care sector legislation, and the organizational policies and practices.
- Completes all appropriate / assigned assessments within the required time frames.
- Supervises care provided by the Health Care Aide/Personal Support Worker in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
- Assists the Registered Nurse in the oversight of the building, after hours and on weekends.
- Observes and reports significant changes in the resident’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social conditions in a manner that demonstrates respect and maintains privacy and confidentiality for each resident.
- Maintains accurate, timely and complete clinical records on all residents according to established documentation policies and procedures and ensures the confidentiality of these records.
- Administration of medication following all medication management policies
- Maintains effective communication and positive, professional interpersonal relationships with residents, colleagues, families, visitors, medical, allied staff members and internal/external stakeholders.
- Participates in all required education.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse/Director of Care
