Job Description
The Records Auditor is responsible for managing and verifying aircraft technical documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry’s best practices. This role (reporting to the Head of Auditing) involves close coordination with internal teams, MROs, and regulatory authorities to support aircraft delivery, maintenance planning, and audits. The Records Auditor will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure that aircraft are maintained to the highest standards and are aligned with market demands.

Responsibilities:
- Documentation Validation: Ensure the completeness and accuracy of documentation for new aircraft acquisitions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Verify MRO/AMO heavy maintenance records for compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Journey Log Accuracy: Conduct thorough reviews to ensure the accuracy of aircraft journey logs.
- Data Management: Update tracking spreadsheets with Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and Life-Limited Part data.
- Aircraft Delivery Coordination: Facilitate timely aircraft delivery while adhering to industry standards and driving continuous improvement in record management.
- Certification Support: Complete applications for Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A), Export C of A, and Radio Licenses.
- Regulatory Liaison: Collaborate with Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and other applicable regulators to provide technical records for flight permits related to Flight Tests and Ferry Flights.
- Audit Execution: Conduct comprehensive aircraft technical records audits for AACC and customers.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop maintenance plans and work scopes aligned with delivery requirements.
- Engineering Document Review: Assess modification status and engineering documentation.
- Audit Template Development: Create and update aircraft audit templates for various aircraft types.
- Compliance Reporting: Maintain and update MRB/AD compliance reports with all task data.
- Operational Guidance: Advise on aircraft operational and importation requirements for different regions.
- MRO Coordination: Work closely with MROs and recommend necessary changes to work scopes.
- Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and advice to visiting customers on record reviews and planning programs.
- Asset & Fleet Management: Ensure accurate tracking, forecasting of assets such as aircraft, engines etc.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft records management, compliance, or related aviation roles;
- In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, including Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) and international standards;
- Familiarity with MRO/AMO processes and technical documentation;
- Experience in aircraft leasing an asset;
- Proficiency in data management systems and tracking tools;
- Sound knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Self-starter with demonstrated research, conflict resolution, communication and analytic skills;
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, problem-solving and time management skills;
- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities;
- Certification in aviation compliance or quality assurance is a plus;
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment, with high tolerance for change;
- Motivated and enthusiastic team player who can work in an autonomous and/or team setting.
