Cherry Quality Inspector, No Experience Needed
Are you a sharp, detail-oriented person who likes working with your hands and thinking on your feet? Join our team and help make sure every cherry we send out meets our quality standards. We'll train you, so no previous experience is needed.
What You'll Do
You'll spend your days in our orchards and packing facilities, inspecting fresh cherries to make sure they meet our standards. Day to day, that means:
- Using precision tools to measure cherry size, sugar levels, and consistency
- Visually checking batches for defects, blemishes, or anything that looks off
- Recording your findings accurately and keeping data organized
- Spotting trends in the results and flagging areas where we can improve
- Sharing feedback with the packing team and helping sort out quality issues as they come up
- Following our quality management procedures and Canada Safe Food protocols
What We're Looking For
- No experience needed (we'll train you), but if you've done quality control or inspection work before, especially in food or produce, you'll start at a higher base pay
- Comfortable collecting, recording, and reviewing data carefully
- Clear communicator who can explain what you're seeing
- Able to work on your own and stay focused without someone checking in constantly
