Job Position: Skilled Labourer/Operator
Job Location: Northumberland County - Bay of Quinte Areas
Company Briefing: Earth-Crete Ontario Inc. is gearing up for the 2026/2027 construction season and we are looking to hire experienced and hardworking employees to join our Civil Earthworks Team. We specialize in all aspects of civil construction including but not limited to; site servicing, site remediation, bulk earth moving, road construction, and concrete construction. Through precision and meticulous planning, we strive to complete all projects in a quick and efficient manner. We are a family owned and operated business that has established ourselves as a leading provider of both heavy civil construction and concrete construction within the Northumberland County and Bay of Quinte Areas. Tasks/Responsibility:
· Operating Tools and Machinery: Safely using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery
· Reading Blueprints and Technical Drawings: Understanding construction plans or schematics to carry out tasks accurately
· Efficiently operate and manage pipe laser
· Compact required material for all types of underground infrastructure
· Assisting with project set-up
· Reliable/Punctual
· Able to perform accurate quantity checks and volume reports
· Complete daily assessments and maintain a clean work environment
· Knowledgeable in project remediation and backfill
· Able to work safely while multi-tasking throughout the day
· Willing to complete all assigned tasks to complete daily projects
· Available to work 12-hour days throughout the primary construction season when needed
Qualifications:
· Full G driver’s license
· Reliable means of transportation
· 3+ years of Skilled Labour
· Experience running skidsteer and small excavators considered an asset
