Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently moving, loading, and unloading materials within our distribution center. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, mechanical systems, and safety protocols to ensure smooth and accurate order fulfillment.
Duties
- Operate various the Raymond Reach forklifts, to move inventory safely and efficiently
- Perform order picking and stacking to prepare products for shipment or storage
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update records accurately
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and replenishing supplies as needed
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including proper handling of materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience operating Raymond Reach forklifts, in a warehouse setting
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control and order processing
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes, including order picking and stacking
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and measurements
- Physical ability for lifting, standing for extended periods, and maneuvering in tight spaces
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
