Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic
Location: Southwestern Ontario

We are a growing Southwestern Ontario-based company seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic to join our team. Our fleet includes:
- Dump Trucks
- Hydro Excavators / Hydrovac Trucks
- Combination Flusher Trucks
- Vacuum Trucks
- Snow Plows
- Specialty Heavy Equipment
This position is ideal for a mechanic who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and truck systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and motion control systems
- Complete repairs on engines, drivetrains, braking systems, and auxiliary equipment
- Maintain service records and work orders
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Respond to occasional field service calls as required
Qualifications
- Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and vocational equipment
- Strong knowledge of:
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Motion control systems
- Electrical diagnostics
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and efficiently
- Welding and fabrication experience considered an asset
- Valid driver’s license required (DZ or AZ considered an asset)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work extended hours when required
