Job Overview
We’re looking for a high-level pipe layer who can do more than just lay pipe — someone who can set grade, read drawings, and help lead a crew on site.
This is not an entry-level position. You’ll be expected to take ownership of your work, keep production moving, and work closely with operators and foremen.
Duties
- Lay, assemble, and repair underground pipelines using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and bucket trucks
- Install water, sewer, and storm systems
- Set and maintain grade using laser / transit
- Read and interpret plans, specs, and elevations
- Lead and direct labourers on site when required
- Work efficiently with excavator operators
- Keep production moving with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer.
- 10+ years experience in pipe laying (sewer/water/storm)
- Proven ability to run grade independently
- Strong understanding of drawings and site layout
- Reliable, shows up every day, and works at pace
Not a Fit If:
You need constant supervision You can’t read plans or run grade
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45.0 – 60.0 per week
