Primary Responsibilities:
Drive and operate, in accordance with the health and safety rules established by the company, an excavator and a wheel loader, better known as a loader.
Perform mechanical inspection and complete required inspection forms.
Ensure that the preventive maintenance of the machines driven is done in the required time (oil change, breakage, lubrication, etc.)
The work must be done with good practices and good work methods in order to respect the rules of health and safety at work.
Perform yard maintenance, including mowing and litter removal
Operate general site vehicles and equipment such as shunt trucks to backup large trailers and Roll- off trucks
Direct site traffic as necessary to ensure safety
The work area must be kept clean.

Qualifications & Requirements:
The candidate we are looking for has professional studies in heavy equipment operation or equivalent experience.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position or in the operation of heavy machinery.
To fill this position, it is essential to demonstrate a sense of responsibility and good judgment.
It is also necessary to be autonomous, resourceful and to work efficiently and safely.
You must be punctual, efficient and have good communication skills.
Working Conditions:
- Constantly exposed to loud noise, humidity, outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes and airborne particles
• Work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• Work in outdoor environment inside heavy equipment covered cab, but exposed to all weather conditions, except lightning storms.
• Occasionally work in high precarious places.
• Work in outdoor environment 100% of the time.
