We are expanding our team and looking for a skilled Podiatrist/Chiropodist who specializes in custom orthotics to join us on a part-time, freelance basis.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Podiatrist/Chiropodist with experience in assessing, prescribing, and dispensing custom foot orthotics. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for professionals looking to grow their patient base in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct biomechanical assessments and gait analysis
- Prescribe and dispense custom orthotics
- Provide patient education on foot health and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure high-quality patient care and experience
Qualifications:
- Licensed Podiatrist or Chiropodist in Ontario
- Experience with custom orthotics assessment and fitting
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary setting
- Professional liability insurance
