We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our busy steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating fabrication machinery and maintaining high production standards while following all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including:
Shear
Press Brake
Iron Worker
Band Saw
Hydraulic Punches
Vertical Drill Press
Hand Drills
Magnetic Drills
Grinders and other shop tools
Perform machine setups and layouts according to production requirements.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Assist with production, assembly, and general labour duties.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Perform daily preventative maintenance, including greasing, cleaning, and general housekeeping.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of machine operating experience in a steel fabrication environment.
Experience with machine setup and operation.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Must have personal tools and wear appropriate PPE, including steel-toe boots.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
