The Formula Auto Lab Experience: Formula Auto Lab is a premier automotive aesthetic and detailing studio in Richmond Hill. We specialize in high-end vehicle care, offering services from precision detailing and paint correction to ceramic coatings, PPF, and vinyl wraps. Our clients trust us with their prized possessions—ranging from high-performance track builds and M-cars to luxury exotics like Porsches, Ferraris, and Lamborghinis.
About the Opportunity: We are looking for a dedicated, highly meticulous Automotive Detailer to join our team on a part-time basis. No prior detailing experience is required.
Weekend availability is required (with additional weekdays as needed) featuring a percentage-based compensation structure. This means your efficiency, work ethic, and attention to detail will directly drive your earning potential.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Precision Detailing: Perform comprehensive interior and exterior detailing, moving far beyond a standard wash to achieve a flawless finish.
- Surface Protection: Apply premium waxes, sealants, and exterior finishes, learning the proper techniques to protect delicate paintwork.
- Interior Rejuvenation: Deep clean and condition interior cabins, ensuring every surface, crevice, and material is spotless and treated with the correct chemicals.
- Concierge Services: Safely and responsibly pick up and drop off client vehicles, providing a seamless, premium customer experience.
- Studio Maintenance: Take pride in your workspace. You will help maintain our luxury studio environment—keeping our epoxy floors spotless, organizing equipment, and ensuring the shop looks pristine under our showroom LED lighting.
- Quality Assurance: Assist our expert team with final inspections, ensuring every vehicle is picture-perfect before the client arrives for pickup.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience: None required! Bring a great attitude and a willingness to learn, and we will teach you the rest.
- Licensing & Driving: A valid G2 driver’s license is strictly required (G class highly preferred) along with a clean driving record, as you will be trusted to drive and transport high-value client vehicles. You must also have your own reliable personal vehicle to commute to the shop.
- Availability: Flexible schedule to cover weekend shifts, plus the ability to pick up weekday shifts as volume demands.
- Meticulous Nature: You have an obsessive eye for detail. You notice the small things that others miss and take immense pride in a job well done.
- Physical Stamina: The ability to stay active, stand, bend, and move continuously in a fast-paced, hands-on shop environment.
