Senior Service Specialists are committed to providing an exceptional level of direct service and support for adults and seniors within community based, home, retirement and health care settings. This may include Care Management Planning, developing Functional Assessments, demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other allied health care practitioners in an effort to optimize the competencies of those that we serve. Our team members have backgrounds in nursing, social work, therapeutic recreation, gerontology, social services with an emphasis on comprehensive expertise in best practise principles and frameworks such as NVCI, GPA, Montessori-based Dementia programming.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years expertise in supporting adults/seniors with complex responsive needs.
Current certification in First aid/CPR; Crisis Intervention and Criminal Reference Checks with vulnerable sector security clearance. A medical clearance will be required.
A passion for supporting individuals with comprehensive psycho-geriatric needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a person centered approach
Valid driver's license, good driving record and have access to a reliable vehicle
