Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Packaging Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, as-needed work in a clean, supportive production environment. It may also be a great opportunity for someone looking to return to the workplace gradually.
The Packaging Associate will help prepare and package food products with accuracy, care, and consistency. Hours will vary depending on production needs and are not guaranteed each week. For the right candidate, this role has the potential to grow into a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Weigh, cut, seal, label, and date products accurately
- Package food products according to quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with other tasks within the packaging department as needed
- Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and product quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, food handling, packaging, or production is preferred, but not required
- Food Handler Certificate is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to cleanliness, quality, and safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a production environment
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures

Job Details
- Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
- Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
- Schedule: Variable hours, as needed, based on production requirements
- Production operates Monday to Saturday, so availability during this period is an asset
