Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in various areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other necessary items
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special sanitation procedures as needed
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly to ensure a safe work environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Support team members in achieving cleanliness goals efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving throughout the facility
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus

Pay: $17.85-$18.50 per hour
