Sales Manager
North America & US
The Sales Manager, North America & US directs cross-border revenue growth, executing international sales strategies, managing sales teams, and driving client acquisition. They establish strategic market plans across North America and the US, ensure regulatory compliance, and negotiate complex, large-scale contracts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cross-Border leadership: Lead and scale remote sales teams across Canada and the U.S., setting regional sales quotas and performance metrics.
Market Expansion: Analyze regional trends, identify growth opportunities, and establish business development pipelines in both countries.
Client Relations: Oversee high-stakes contract negotiations, manage escalated client issues, and foster executive-level relationships
Go-To-Market Alignment: Partner with marketing, product, and engineering teams to adapt messaging and positioning for unique regional markets
Sales Forecasting: Provide detailed analytics and sales forecasts
QUALIFICATION AND/OR REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, (electrical would be an asset)
- 5-10 years of experience within the manufacturing industry in North America and US environment or in a similar capacity
- Documented track record of exceeding targets in multi-national or cross-border territories
- Business Acumen: deep understanding of the North American business landscape, distribution models, and cross-border compliance
- Technology Proficiency strong command of various platforms, forecasting tools, and data analytics
- Travel: willingness to travel occasionally, when approved
- Ability to structure and implement strategic plans
- Proficient with ERP system
- Languages: Excellent English (spoken and written), and French (spoken and written) for communication with customers located in Quebec
- Mature and energetic, a hands-on leader with business acumen that is motivated by challenges
- Tenacious at driving sales results and business development opportunities
- Excellent communicator, negotiator, and innovator with strong people and management skills
- Ability to analyze complex problems or situations and to develop effective solutions
- Highly reliable, a self-starter with the ability to execute and implement consequential change

LOCATION
This role is based at the company Headquarters located in the West Island.
