Construction Senior Project Coordinator
We’re partnering with a well-established mechanical contractor specializing in large-scale commercial HVAC and ventilation projects across Atlantic Canada. Known for delivering high-quality work in healthcare, retail, institutional, and recreational sectors, they’re continuing to grow and are looking to add a Construction Project Coordinator to their team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules and manpower plans
- Review drawings, specifications, and project scope
- Handle RFIs, change orders, and site instructions
- Track project costs and prepare monthly reports and billings
- Support commissioning and ensure successful project delivery
- Lead site meetings and promote a strong safety culture
What you bring:
- 3+ years of construction project management experience
- Experience with mechanical/HVAC projects is a strong asset
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (MS Project is an asset)
- Valid driver’s license
- P.Tech, MIT, or Engineering background preferred
- Bilingualism is an asset
