General Maintenance Team Member
Responsibilities
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Team Member to help maintain and repair all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, common areas, banquet rooms, the bar, kitchen facilities, and the hotel grounds.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Repairing toilets, showers, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Replacing light bulbs and performing minor electrical repairs.
- Wallpaper repair, grouting, and painting.
- Performing general yard and grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, weeding, seasonal landscaping, and keeping outdoor areas clean and well-maintained.
- Snow removal and general property maintenance.
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will have strong mechanical abilities, be proficient with basic hand and power tools, and be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs when required.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
- Electrical knowledge and experience are considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
