The Role:
- We are currently hiring Health Care Aides to work at a supportive living facility in Medicine Hat. Please note, we are an agency.
- Shifts are all 8 hours:7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. You do not have to be available to work all three types of shifts in order to apply! You work the shifts that best fit your schedule.
- You will assist with the day-to-day delivery of care and requirements of the resident
- You will work closely with the multi disciplinary team to facilitate the best practices are being used
- You will provide support to residents, their family and visitors during the resident's stay
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized Canadian Health Care Aide program
- Active HCA registration on the Alberta Healthcare Aide Directory
- Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required
- Previous experience in the area of Gerontology and Designated Assisted Living an asset
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in delivering excellence in customer service/patient care, employee communication and development
Successful candidates will be required to provide:
- A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, done within the last 6 months
- A copy of their active Alberta Health Care Aide Directory registration
