Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Residential / Commercial Window Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves cleaning windows of various sizes and types for both residential and commercial clients, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in custodial work or facilities maintenance is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in commercial cleaning and facilities upkeep while contributing to the appearance and safety of our clients' properties.
Duties
- Clean windows of residential homes and commercial buildings using hand tools, squeegees, and other cleaning equipment
- Use power tools and specialized cleaning solutions to ensure streak-free results
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or touch-ups
- Safely operate ladders, scaffolding, or lifts to access high or hard-to-reach windows
- Manage time effectively to complete scheduled appointments within designated timeframes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and supplies
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction
- Adhere to safety protocols during all cleaning activities, including heavy lifting and use of equipment
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple jobs efficiently
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when moving ladders, equipment, or supplies
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus
- Attention to detail to ensure streak-free windows and overall cleanliness
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
