DPM is seeking a fixture and gauge, Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer. We must have applicants with experience in the manufacturing field. All applicants are required to take time to complete the skills tests and the phone screen. Your resume will not be considered without adequate experience. The applicant must have:
- Knowledge and understanding of GD&T (this is critical)
- Experience in designing checking fixtures and gauges
- Experience using CAD software’s, specifically https://www.cimatron.com/en
- Knowledge and understanding of Check Fixtures and Gauging
- CAD surfacing and offsetting surfaces
- Ability to visualize objects and shapes in 3D CAD space
If you have CAD/CAM CNC programming experience, this would be an additional valued asset. If you have a lot of experience in CNC programming and CAD/CAM, DPM may be able to train you internally for fixture and gauge design. Please let us know if you have CAD/CAM experience.
