Job Overview
Verge Studios in Meaford, is hiring an experienced Mason for custom luxury home construction in Annan. The ideal candidate will have strong masonry skills, field experience, and working knowledge of stone and limestone.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Mix mortar or concrete as needed for various applications
- Cut, shape and install stone materials
- Build stone features including walls, fireplaces and facades
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Requirements
- Proven experience in masonry work, construction, or related fields
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
