CALTI is a manufacturer’s representative for leading factory automation companies. We provide innovative products and solutions across a range of applications. We are currently seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to grow our market presence in South Western Ontario by driving new business opportunities and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
Position Summary:
The Sales Engineer will develop and manage sales opportunities, working closely with customers across automotive, pharmaceutical, packaging, and material handling sectors. You will own the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, while supporting partner collaborations and representing CALTI professionally in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities
● Maintain CRM records and sales documentation (HubSpot)
● Engineering design, selection, costing and presentation of technical proposals
● Promptly respond to technical inquiries, price requests, delivery timelines, and service inquiries from customers
● Provide expert guidance on the solution that can be offered
● Partner with principles to create and execute a customized sales strategy aimed at high potential prospects
● Identify emerging application opportunities and unique market demands, working with principles to foster innovation
● Gather accurate project information for principles to prepare competitive proposals and facilitate alignment with customers
● Actively participate in industry events such as exhibitions, conferences, and association meetings to learn industry trends and promote solutions offered by principles.
● Build strong relationships with customers to understand their product requirements and preferences facilitating personalized service and support
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline attained or in progress
● Interest in technical sales and customer service
● Excellent communication skills in English - written and spoken
● Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software
● Self-driven, organized, and comfortable working independently
● Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
