Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our kitchen, ensuring a smooth operation for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the overall guest experience.
Duties
- Responsible for thoroughly cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and assisting kitchen staff
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring all items are sanitized and ready for use during meal service
- Properly handle and dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with health and safety standards
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Restock dishware and utensils as required to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, food handling, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation or cooking can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety regulations within a hospitality setting
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
