Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
*Must be willing to work on-call in a rotation with other employees*
Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to identify potential issues before failure
- Troubleshoot complex system problems using schematics and technical manuals
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for accurate system setup and troubleshooting
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or mechanic with a strong background in mechanical systems
- Knowledge of plumbing, boiler systems, and AC equipment is highly desirable
- Familiarity with construction practices related to HVAC installation projects
- Prior experience working with HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Knowledge of service computer software and working on a tablet to maintain service records.

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
