Job Summary
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and organized Tour Operations Assistant to support the planning and execution of daily tour activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about travel and tourism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily scheduling and coordination of tours, guides, and transportation
- Communicate with customers regarding bookings, changes, and general inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of tours, guest preferences, and logistics
- Support the operations manager in handling last-minute changes or emergencies
- Coordinate with hotels, transportation providers, and activity vendors
- Prepare and distribute itineraries and guest information packets
- Help ensure that tours operate smoothly and meet high-quality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Familiarity with reservation systems or CRM tools is a plus
- Fluent in English
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
