Summary
As a Barista at Little Pebbles Cafe, you will play a key role in crafting delightful coffee beverages and providing outstanding service to our guests. This position is essential in creating a friendly atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and food items to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations and dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards during food preparation and service.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee supplies and food items.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
