About the Role
We are currently hiring 1 Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. This is a 1 year position with the possibility for extension. This role is ideal for someone who stays calm under pressure, adapts easily to change, and communicates confidently and professionally.
As a Medical Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for our patients and play a critical role in setting the tone for their experience. This is more than a front-desk position—it’s an opportunity to be a key part of a high-performing healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients in person, by phone, email, text, and online platforms
- Book, manage, and adjust appointments efficiently and accurately
- Support clinical staff by coordinating schedules and ensuring smooth daily flow
- Manage referrals, patient records, and administrative documentation
- Handle unexpected situations with professionalism, adaptability, and calm problem-solving
- Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional front-desk environment
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, providers, and team members
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a medical reception or administrative role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable adapting to change and shifting priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with EMR systems is an asset
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset
- Experience in hospitality or client-facing roles is considered a strong bonus

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends as needed (not routine—we value work-life balance)
Pay: $46,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
