Nirvana Physio & Rehab is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and professional Full-Time Kinesiologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Surrey, British Columbia.
The successful candidate will work closely with patients and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized exercise, rehabilitation, and injury-prevention programs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping patients improve their strength, mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct functional, movement, strength, and mobility assessments
- Develop personalized exercise and rehabilitation programs
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises safely and effectively
- Support patients recovering from workplace, motor vehicle, sports, and general injuries
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programs as required
- Educate patients about posture, movement, injury prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
- Provide one-on-one active rehabilitation sessions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment
- Build positive and long-term relationships with patients
- Support the continued growth and reputation of the clinic
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, Exercise Science, or a related field
- Professional association membership or eligibility is preferred
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, exercise prescription, and injury rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, professional, reliable, and patient-focused
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Previous clinical or active rehabilitation experience is an asset
- Qualified new graduates are welcome to apply
