We're currently seeking a Treasury Manager to join our client in St. John's, Newfoundland. Key Responsibilities for the Job:

Oversee daily corporate liquidity and execute fund transfers while ensuring robust internal controls and treasury governance

Coordinate short-term borrowing activities and liaise with banking partners, including the management of international cash management account structures and banking providers

Prepare working capital reports and analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making

Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial banking partners, ensuring timely reporting and effective communication

Support debt reporting and compliance requirements

Assist with the organization's hedging program, including the analysis, execution, reporting, and control of foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity market exposures

Maintain account continuity schedules, reconciliations, scheduled journal entries, and related reporting

Prepare ad hoc financial analyses to support business initiatives and management requests
Experience & Attributes for Success:
-
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in accounting and finance operations; specific treasury experience is a definite asset

Post-secondary degree in finance, accounting, or other related field and completed CPA or CFA designation is a strong asset

Familiarity with financial legislation, monetary markets, credit facilities, and investment management

Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Dynamics and above average Excel

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present detail financial information and data to senior management

Proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments while meeting tight deadlines
