Job Description
We are looking for experienced and motivated Data Science Instructors to support our 6-week Overseas Data Science Bootcamp, scheduled to begin around August 9, 2026. We are hiring both Online Instructors and Onsite Instructors for delivery in Saudi Arabia.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong data science background, hands-on technical experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students. The instructor will support course delivery, guide students through technical concepts, assist with labs and projects, and help ensure a smooth learning experience.
Candidates must be available to commit to the full 6-week program period, with additional availability required for onboarding and preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor students through a structured 6-week Data Science Program.
- Familiarize yourself with existing course content, support content development, and help adapt materials for the bootcamp.
- Teach and mentor students through a structured Data Science Bootcamp by delivering lectures, labs, review sessions, and Q&A support.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and academic support.
- Support learners from diverse backgrounds by adapting teaching approaches to different skill levels and learning styles.
- Work closely with students to guide them through projects and assignments, ensuring a strong understanding of the concepts taught and providing technical mentorship throughout the program.
- Collaborate with WeCloudData faculty and staff to maintain high standards in course delivery and student outcomes.
General Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of professional Data Science work experience.
- Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, data analysis, data visualization, machine learning, deep learning and Big Data.
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written), with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to host effective review/Q&A sessions.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, platforms, and teaching materials.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3 and Athena.
- Experience with modern AI technologies and Generative AI applications.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, coaching, or facilitating technical training programs.
- Experience designing, developing, or improving technical curriculum and instructional materials.
- Hands-on experience working on real-world data analytics, machine learning, AI, or business intelligence projects.
Location
- Online Instructor: remote delivery via Zoom.
- Onsite Instructor: in-person delivery in Saudi Arabia, with approved travel-related expenses covered.
Schedule and Contract Details
- Job Type: Fixed-term contract.
- Length of Contract: 6 weeks.
- Expected Program Start Date: Around August 9, 2026.
- Instructor Availability: Availability may be required starting around August 3, 2026 for onboarding, preparation, and program setup.
