We are currently looking for a Lead Construction Laborer / Skilled Construction Lead Hand to join our growing construction team.
The successful candidate will be a smart, driven, organized, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and can help lead construction projects from start to finish. This role requires someone who is proactive, mechanically inclined, creative, and confident solving problems while keeping projects moving forward.

- Experienced Lead Hand capable of taking ownership of construction projects.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers, subcontractors, and internal trade teams.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different construction environments.

Requirements
- Valid G Driver’s License is required with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience preferred.
- Experience leading construction projects or crews is an asset.
- Ability to work in various environments including indoor/outdoor, hot/cold conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights, ladders, and in confined spaces.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings and instructions.
- Basic computer, math, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends when required.
Responsibilities & Skills
The successful candidate will be experienced with a variety of construction tasks, including:
- Framing and general carpentry.
- Drywall installation, mudding, and taping.
- Painting and finishing work.
- Flooring installation.
- Trim and finish carpentry.
- Renovations and general construction repairs.
- Demolition and preparation work.
- Job site organization and material management.
- Coordinating with other trades including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Construction teams.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized job site.
- Helping mentor and support other team members.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift
- 8–10 hour shifts
- Overtime available when required
