Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer/Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and concrete forming, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, focusing on framing, siding, restoration, and other related tasks. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, operating power tools and heavy equipment, and performing precise woodworking tasks. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate framing and building processes
- Construct and install wood framing, siding, and other structural components according to project specifications
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks for various construction projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with restoration projects, including repairing or replacing damaged structures
- Use welding techniques when necessary for structural reinforcement or custom fabrications
- Work with concrete finishing teams to ensure smooth surfaces and proper curing
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in carpentry, concrete forming, or related construction fields
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
- Knowledge of siding installation, woodworking, concrete finishing, and restoration techniques is preferred
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
- Excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Valid <PERSON> certification or equivalent is a plus but not mandatory
