Podcast Video Editor — Project-Based Paid Work
I’m looking for a reliable Podcast Video Editor to help with recurring podcast editing projects. This is project-based/contract work with flexible hours and the ability to work remotely.
The ideal person should be comfortable editing podcast-style content, interviews, and social media clips. You should be good with video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and also have a strong understanding of Pro Tools for basic podcast audio cleanup and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Edit 45–60 minute podcast episodes
- Work with multi-camera podcast/interview footage
- Sync audio and video
- Clean up pacing, remove mistakes, and create a smooth final edit
- Add intro/outro when needed
- Create short social media clips/reels from episodes
- Add captions/subtitles for reels
- Do basic colour correction
- Keep project files organized
- Export final files in the required formats
- Communicate clearly and meet agreed deadlines
Requirements:
- Strong hand in Premiere Pro and Pro Tools
- Experience editing podcasts, interviews, YouTube videos, or similar content
- Good English listening and comprehension
- Ability to follow a fixed editing template/workflow
- Reliable communication
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Must be okay with client confidentiality/NDA when required
Nice to have:
- Experience with captions/subtitles
- Experience creating short-form clips for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.
- Basic audio cleanup/leveling experience
- Thumbnail or basic graphic design skills
Pay:
$20–$30/hour depending on experience and project requirements.
This is not a full-time role. It is project-based work, with potential for recurring projects if the quality and workflow are a good fit.
