Lead Hand Mechanic
We are looking to hire Lead Hand Mechanic with minimum of 15 years experience.
EXPECTATIONS
Proven Leadership skills.
Has considerable mechanical aptitude and tool-using skills,
The ability to work with shop employees.
Must own a good assortment of mechanic’s tools and safety shoes
Read drawings, schematic prints, use precision measuring tools.
Job Costing
Computer skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Possess good verbal English communications skills
Ability to be professional when in stressful circumstances
Above average critical Thinking Skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with strong skills relating to Automotive, Trucks, Industrial equipment,
diesel, gas engines, hydraulic systems, compressor and Generators systems.
Experienced in fixing anything & everything, rather than replacing parts.
Good to Have
Knowledge in electrical systems and Hydraulic systems
Remunerations: $30 to $38 per hour, to be assessed on skills and performance
Work hours: 40-44 work hours per week. Start 7:00 am – Finish 3:30 pm.
Job Summary:
Work with the shop team as a Lead hand, perform Preventive maintenance,
Refurbishment, Repairs and Modifications on Aircraft Support Equipment (mostly
automotive based), such as: Tow Tractors (small and large), Belt loaders, Generators,
Cargo Loaders, Air Starts, Air Conditioning and Heaters, Hydraulic test units, aircraft
jacks, Gas Turbines, Electrical powered machines, Towing vehicles.
Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour
